Bosjökloster Castle & Gardens


	earl of the Ring Lakes" - so Bosjökloster has often been called. And a pearl it is, the white convent on the peninsula between the two lakes, shimmering in the spring sun, in the midsummer haze, during Autumn's clear days, in the white light of the snow.

In a time of restlessness and hurry people more than ever must need continuity, beauty, calm and security. We have a sense that Bosjökloster expresses these values; we are constantly stimulated by its beauty: the silhouettes of the old trees, the view over the water, the white walls that whisper of generations who have lived and worked here and who, as us, were fascinated by the place.
When we now bid visitors welcome to Bosjökloster, it is with the hope that they shall experience something unusual and perhaps understand why the convent once upon a time was founded precisely here.

Four sundays this summer, starting August 1, Bosjökloster hosts performances of delightful music and poetry from different parts of the world.

Other times by preliminary booking.

The garden and park are open all days
May 1 - September 30: 8am - 7pm
October 1 - April 30: 10am - 5pm

Café & Restaurant Bosjökloster offers lunches, dinners, weddings, meetings and conferences year-round.

Please feel free to bring your own picnic.

SEE AT BOSJÖKLOSTER

Exhibitions in the Castle, a small convent museum in the nuns' vaulted refectory, the herb garden, the beautiful terraced gardens, the romantic park with its animals and thousand year old oak, the children's corner with a mini zoo and picnic house. Borrow a rowing boat for a ride on the lake.
