An outing for the whole family

Enjoy Bosjökloster's spacious park and gardens

Visit the mini-shetland ponies, rabbits, goats, lamas and alpacas, take a ride on the 43 meter long glider, let your imagination go among hollow trees and winding garden paths. The Garden Café is situated close to the children's corner. Or bring your own picnic and find a favourite spot in the park. You are welcome to borrow a rowing boat for a ride on the lake. Please fetch life vests and oars at the entrance.

Free entry for children

With the exception of some events, children and adolescents up to 16 years enjoy free entry to Bosjökloster.

Pancakes and tours on Tuesdays

On Tuesdays during the summer vacation (mid-June to mid-August), children are welcome to a short guided tour. The tour starts at 2:30 pm from the Rose Garden.

If your child does not understand Swedish, we are happy to organise an extra short tour in English. Please let us know in advance!

We will adapt the tours in accordance with the recommendations of the Swedish Public Health Authority for Covid-19 safety.

Easter and autumn vacation activities

During the Easter and autumn vacations we organise treasure hunts in the park and other fun activities for our younger visitors.

The grounds are spectacular. Very good for visiting with kids. There are little ponies and darling little goats.

Whatever your interests are, you will certainly gain a lot from a visit to Bosjokloster. Bring your family and spend the whole day there. Perfectly safe and calm, free from hustle and bustle. Love it! There is a great restaurant inside too.

This place is fantastic! It’s a very beautiful environment. There is a nice garden with many different flowers. We made a little trip on the water by rowing boat. This is for free and gives you a good look at the monastery. During the walk you’ll see all kinds of different things like very old trees, beehives and lots of animals. It was worth every penny!
