Welcome to this year's nature photography exhibition at Bosjökloster. Mats Bentmar shares his most intimate meetings with birds and animals in Nordic nature.
Since the early 1970s, Mats Bentmar has spent countless hours in the wilderness with his cameras. Photography is his way of sharing the beauty he experiences, and to help increase our attentiveness to fragile ecosystems.
Mats lives in Svedala in southern Skåne and picked up photography when he spotted eagles staying there for the winter season. The rarer his subject, the more attracted he is. Patient perseverance combined with knowledge about who and what he photographs is his most important equipment during all the hours spent hiding, to get close without disturbing.
Mats has organised a large number of in-house exhibitions. Read more about Mats Bentmar.
The exhibition is open all days 28 April - 22 September. Exhibition room: The North Stable
