Boats & swimming
-
Normally, you can borrow a boat from May 1 until the third week of September. In stormy spring weather, we may need to wait a little to put the boats in the water.
The boat loan is included in the entrance fee. No extra costs.
Collect life vests and oars at the entrance, where you are asked to leave an ID-card as a deposit. The staff will inform you about safe handling of the boat.
We reserve the right not to lend boats in windy weather, for your own safety!
-
One hour.
-
Unfortunately, this is not possible. In case that all boats are out on the water, the entrance staff will ask for your phone number contact you as soon as a boat is available again.
-
It is possible to swim at the pier, at your own risk. There is a small sandy area on the west side of the pier but otherwise the lake is stony.
Please note that it is forbidden to jump from the boat dock! There is no lifeguard by the water. Parents are responsible for their children.
The water quality has improved significantly since the end of the 20th century thanks to ‘Project Ringsjön’. During prolonged heat waves, however, algal blooms can occur.
Animals
-
Goats, lamas, alpacas, ponies and rabbits enjoy the park from spring to autumn.
In Spring, we normally let the animals out in mid-April, when night-time temperatures are warm enough and there is plentiful grass.
We post information on instagram and facebook in advance!
-
Visitors are welcomed into the animals’ enclosures.
Animals that want to be petted usually approach you on their own. Please pay attention to, and respect, when an animal signals 'enough', for example if a pony folds its ears backward, instead of pricked forward.
Adults are responsible for both their children’s’ safety and behaviour in the animal enclosures.
-
Unfortunately not.
