Guest Wing

The castle's guest wing is located on the first floor of the east wing, above the medieval cloister vaults. From the apartment, you look out over the Rose Garden and the Courtyard, offering the opportunity to stay right in the heart of the castle's historic setting.

During the first half of the 20th century, the suite was used as a kitchen and dining room. In the early 1950s, it was refurbished into the apartment we see today, featuring a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and three bedrooms. It accommodates five to six guests, arranged in double rooms.

The guest suite carries a genuine historic charm and is not equipped with all the amenities associated with modern standards. Instead, it is a place for those who appreciate atmosphere, history, and the simple life – a cosy and personal retreat from everyday life, where the castle's unique character takes centre stage.

  • The view to the Rose Garden

    ou will have access to the northeastern part of the castle as well as the castle grounds with its beautiful park. During the summer months from May to September, you can:

    • Enjoy coffee and lunch at the Garden Café (open daytime)

    • Visit the animals in the park

    • Explore all the exhibitions

  • The courtyard view

    Take walks in the park – in the morning and evening, you will have the place almost entirely to yourself.

    Practical Information

  • Check-in: From 3:00 PM

  • Check-out: By 11:00 AM

  • Arrival: Prior to your arrival, we will send you directions, information on how to enter the castle grounds, where to park, and the code for the keybox.

  • Payment: We will send an invoice after your stay to the email address provided in the form.

  • Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to arrival. For later cancellations, half the amount will be invoiced.
