The long legged horses make a welcome return to Bosjökloster this Easter
When Lotta first began to sculpt, it was horses that emerged from the stoneware clay. Long legged galloping horses, their necks suggesting giraffes. Real and surreal at the same time - elegant fusions between fantasy and emotion. Movement is evident in their bodies. Personalities emerging from the clay.
“When you ride a really good horse, of course it has incredibly long legs”
As a photographer for the newspaper Ridsport, Lotta has had ample time to study horses and their movement. With this experience she has created an entirely new breed of horse.
By now, Anna has sculpted hundreds of horses and has participated i several exhibitions including Kronovall castle, on the island of Ven, at Övedskloster and Svabesholm.
You are warmly welcome to visit both the horses and Lotta herself inside the castle’s Stone Hall.
