Max Alm-Norell - Light, Darkness and Eternity

  • Bosjökloster Slottsförvaltning Bosjökloster Slott & Trädgårdar Höör, Skåne County, 243 95 Sweden (se karta)

This Easter, The Stable Gallery opens its old doors and lets in something that moves between worlds. Here in the long, silent building where time feels different, Max Alm-Norell lets light, darkness and eternity meet in a room that carries a quiet enchantment.

The numerous paintings, each with their own voice, fill the room as if they always belonged there. The colors pulsate in the shadows and the new black and white works cut through the silence like openings to something greater. Light and darkness cease to be opposites and instead become two forces that cooperate and keep the room alive.

A sound image created by Sebastian Mullaert moves through the entire building. It travels along the beams and further down through the floor like a living breath. The sound feels as if it belongs to the room itself and not as something that has been added. It is present in a way that cannot be explained but is felt.

Another layer of experience awaits with the work PROPATHEIA. A hypnotic loop that is accessible via mobile opens an inner door and allows the viewer to sink deeper into the work's energy. Here is a wordless room where thoughts become still and a different kind of movement takes over.

All of Max's art in the exhibition is collected in the Stable Gallery. Light. Darkness. The still tone of eternity. Together they create a landscape of resonances where boundaries slowly dissolve and where art is no longer just viewed but experienced in multiple layers.

Max Alm-Norell will be on site every day to meet visitors and to guide those who want to deepen their experience.

Light, darkness and eternity is a passage through a room that breathes at its own pace. A quiet vibration in time waiting to be discovered. A room in the universe.
